I don’t understand how the five wins in a row Flames aren’t the favorite against the lost eight of their last nine Canadiens. Calgary wins their sixth in a row over a terrible Montreal team tonight.

Renu: Calgary Flames 3 - Montreal Canadiens 1

The Habs have Kovalchuk playing on the first line - he has 4 points in his 4 games with Montreal thus far - I foresee the Flames and Rittich shutting that down real easy. With a 10 point differential between the Atlantic and Pacific teams I see this as a low scoring game with Calgary coming up with the W, and potting an empty netter for good measure.

Maddie: Calgary Flames 4 - Montreal Canadiens 2

The Habs are really struggling right now, and I think this has the makings to be a trap game, and if the Flames try to take them too lightly, this could go sideways in a big way. That said, the Flames are objectively a more talented team, and I’m betting that this wins out in the end. I don’t know that they’ll completely run away with this one, but I think they should be able to make it a pretty decisive win.
