Calgary Flames End of Summer Approval Polls

School’s are back in and rookie camp is starting this week. It’s official that summer has come to a close, and with that, I figured it would be a good time to do our first round of approval polls heading into the 2019-20 season. We did a couple of these last year and are looking to make them somewhat more frequent this year. For this round it’s a pretty simple format with just the coaches, management, and ownership being rated.

Coach

Peters was a good fit for the team last year but playoff success this year will be critical for him.

Management

He’s re-signed some of the RFA’s to good deals, acquired Milan Lucic, and is still in negotiations with Matthew Tkachuk and Andrew Mangiapane.

Looks like they’ve found some late round gems in recent years and may have found a few more in this year’s draft. year

Ownership

Finally pushed through their big arena deal.
