Calgary Flames 1 St. Louis Blues 3
Thr Flames sputtered into the holiday break with an unispiring 3-1 loss to the St. Loiuis Blues Saturday night. Calgary looked slow from the get-go and almost like they were already on vacation. With that said, all is not lost in Calgary and the way they have been playing has been a gift to all of the fan base. Here’s the rest of the best of what wasn’t covered in our Recap/Rate The Flames.
Tidbits
-Don’t Panic: While the Flames have decided to take a three game losing streak into the Christmas break, all is not lost. This is only the second time all season the Flames have lost more than two straight.
-Two Straight: The last game before the Christmas break has been rough on the Flames the last few seasons. Calgary has dropped two straight, though they had won their prior three games before heading home for the holidays.
-More Good News: Despite dropping three in a row the Flames are still in first place in the Pacific and in second place in the West, just three points behind the Winnipeg Jets.
