NHL: Calgary Flames at San Jose Sharks Andrew Villa-USA TODAY Sports

Calgary Flames 1 San Jose Sharks 3

The Flames got rocked early in the first and second periods and Calgary fell 3-1 to the San Jose Sharks to end their California vacation. Here’s the rest of the best of what wasn’t covered in the recap or Rate The Flames.

Tibits

-Milestone Mony: At 6:08 of the second period Sean Monahan pumped in his 9th goal of the season which ties him with Elias Lindholm for the team lead. That’s not the milestone however. The goal was Monahan’s 300th point of his NHL career.

-Evander The Great: Evander Kane had a 2 point night, including the first goal of the game which continues his dominance of the Flames. He has 8 points in his last 4 games against Calgary.

-Stone Sighting: Michael Stone is alive! The Flames defenceman took to the ice tonight for the first time since 10/25, a 9-1 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
