Report: Brett Ritchie Returns

After announcing the Sonny Milano PTO earlier today, it’s been reported the Flames are closing in on another player coming in to training camp.

Per Eric Francis of Sportsnet:

Ritchie is a big, bruising right-shot winger who had 78 hits and 29 penalty minutes in 41 games played last year. His 6’4”, 220 pound frame came in handiest when he scored two playoff goals against Edmonton in last season’s Battle of Alberta.

Ritchie will add to a crowded competition in the team’s bottom six forward group to start the campaign.
