Free Agency Flames Wrap: Day 1

Here's who came and went for the Flames on a wild first day of free agency.

Whew. It was a busy day for the Calgary Flames as a bunch of new faces arrived (and a few familiar), while a very important face left and went somewhere no one could have predicted. Clearly there's still a ton of work that needs to be done in Calgary, but Brad Treliving brought back a few players and added a bunch of pieces on the first day of the free agency period. He said he wasn't making any knee jerk decisions and he wasn't kidding. While the rest of the league made splash signings and gave big names money, the Flames added bottom six bodies, stocked the Heat roster and added a few, extra, inexperienced defenceman. Who's excited now!!??
