The Flames and Jeremie Poirier have come to terms on a three year, entry level deal today according to the organization.
Poirier was the Flames third round pick (72nd overall) in the 2020 NHL Draft and is currently a member of the Saint John Sea Dogs of the QMJHL.
At 19, Poirier has a long journey ahead of him before he reaches the NHL, but he's off to a good start. In his first year as a member of the Sea Dogs after being drafted by the Flames Poirier played in 33 games and pilled up 37 points (9G-28A). Overall the Quebec native has played three campaigns for the aforementioned Sea Dogs and has 35 goals and 76 assists from the blue line.
