The Morning After
Calgary Flames 4 - Vancouver Canucks 1
Tidbits
-Rasmus On Pace: Rasmus Andersson scored his 5th goal of the season to tie last night’s game at 1-1. That goal tied his career high of five and he’s one point away from tying his career high of 21.
-Long Time Coming: Matthew Highmore scored the Canucks only goal last night and it’s been a while since he’s lit the lamp. It was his first goal of this season, but it was also the first time he scored since February 25th of 2020 when he was a member of the Chicago Blackhawks.
-Leave ‘Em and Defeat ‘Em: Jacob Markstrom’s season has been up and down for sure, but he’s been aces when he’s faced the Vancouver Canucks since signing with the Flames. In his 14th straight start, Markstrom stopped 24 of 25 shots and improved to 5-2-0 this season against the Canucks.
