Tidbits

-Keep That Puck: Glenn Gawdin was back in the Flames lineup and it paid off for the 24 year old native of British Columbia. The Flames centre was credited with the secondary assist on Michael Stone’s second period goal. The helper is the first point of Gawdin’s NHL career.

-Drought Over?: Mark Giordano had a goal and an assist last night, giving him his first goal in his last eight games and it’s only his 3rd goal in his last 15 outings. It also marked his first multi point game since April 14th against the Canadiens.

-Upping His Value: Johnny Gaudreau had a goal and two assists and continues to drive the Flames bus. He now has points in nine of his last eleven games and has six goals and nine assists over that stretch. Believe it or not that three point effort was his first of that variety this season.
