The Morning After
Calgary Flames 1 - Winnipeg Jets 4
Tidbits
-700 Club: Mikal Backlund played in his 700th career game last night for the Calgary Flames. The centre is now 8th all time in games played in franchise history and in 11 games will tie Jim Peplinksi for 7th all time.
-No More Streak: Unfortunately in life, all good things must come to an end and Johnny Gaudreau experienced that last night. Gaudreau had a point in 9 straight games to start the season, but fell short of getting to game #10 after going pointless in the Flames 4-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets.
Good To Very Bad: The Flames PP was hot to start the season, scoring 10 PPGs in their first six games of the season, but that has all changed. The Jets have shut down the effective Calgary PP, sending it to a terrible 0-10 during their three game visit to Winnipeg.
