Staff Predictions & Projected Lines: David Rittich, All He Does Is Start

It’s three in a row for the Flames backup keeper as Calgary takes on the Senators tonight in Ottawa.

Predictions

Mark: Calgary Flames 5 - Ottawa Senators 1

The Sens can’t stop much of anything and I’d like to think Calgary will want a better effort than they put forth for David Rittich last night. Yo, Flames! Do your goalie a favour: score a ton and make his life easy tonight. I still say Glenn Gawdin gets his first NHL point tonight. Somehow, some way, this will happen.

Shane: Calgary Flames 3 - Ottawa Senators 1

Maddie: Calgary Flames 4 - Ottawa Senators 2

I went into the last two games not feeling great but I’m trying optimism again. I think the Senators could keep this one interesting, but the Flames, even as they’ve been struggling, are just a better team, and as long as they don’t get sucked into playing down to their competition, should have this one pretty handily.

Michael: Calgary Flames 4 - Ottawa Senators 2

Projected Lines

According to the Calgary Flames the only person listed as a starter tonight is David Rittich. He will start his third straight on goal for Calgary. The rest of the lines/lineup will be determined closer to puck drop according to the team.
