Staff Predictions & Projected Lines: David Rittich Gets The Start

This should not have come as a surprise to anyone.

Staff Predictions & Projected Lines

Calgary Flames @ Toronto Maple Leafs, 5 PM MT

Previous Games:

1/24: Calgary Flames 2 vs Toronto Maple Leafs 3

1/26: Calgary Flames 3 vs Toronto Maple Leafs 4

2/22: Calgary Flames 3 @ Toronto Maple Leafs 0

Favorite: Calgary Line: -105 O/U: 6.5

Predictions

Mark: Calgary Flames 4 - Toronto Maple Leafs 3

I’m throwing caution to the wind and taking the Flames tonight. It won’t be easy, but I feel like they had a spiritual awakening on Monday. I’m also going WAY out on a limb and saying Glenn Gawdin is going to get his first NHL point....if he plays more than 2 minutes tonight. Hell, if you’re throwing s#%t at the wall, why not really throw it!?

Renu: Calgary Flames 3 - Toronto Maple Leafs 2 (S/O)

I have faith in Rittich, but I foresee this game going into OT and then into a shootout. The Leafs are lethal and the Flames won’t be able to shut them out again.

Michael: Calgary Flames 3 - Toronto Maple Leafs 1

Because I am a strong believer in the Calgary Flames Create Maximum Chaos theory, I do believe they will win tonight and sweep Toronto, but then end up being swept by Ottawa. Rittich has been amazing against the Leafs in his career and I think should be due for another strong showing now that he has his confidence.
