Highlight Of The Night

Calgary Flames 3 – Dallas Stars 4 (OT)

Let’s all be honest: after his performance against Nashville most of us thought that Nikita Zadorov should have been eating popcorn in the press box tonight. But that’s why Darry Sutter is the coach and you and I aren’t.

The Flames were trailing 3-2 late in the third period and there was just a weird series of penalties and Calgary needed something to go their way. Enter Zadorov. The big defenceman trailed the play and was the last to enter the zone. He received a great feed from Oliver Kylington (and Jacob Markstrom) and absolutely wired a wrist shot past Anton Khudobin, tying the game at 3-3. It was Nikita Zadorov’s first goal of the season and came at the perfect time. Check out the goal below!
