Calgary Flames vs Winnipeg Jets, 7 PM MT, Scotiabank Saddledome, Calgary AB
Calgary Flames (2-4-1) - Winnipeg Jets (2-2-1)
TV: Live stream at CalgaryFlames.com - Radio: Sportsnet 960
The Flames will play their final preseason game tonight with the Winnipeg Jets coming to visit the Saddledome. The Flames and Jets played Wednesday night, with the Jets defeating the Flames 3-2.
Calgary will be without Blake Coleman tonight as he serves the first of his two game suspension for a hit against Winnipeg on Wednesday. That leaves the Flames lines in flux as Darryl Sutter will have to juggle players around to get the best Calgary team on the ice. Sean Monahan will play for the second time this season, centering the Johnny Gaudreau/Elias Lindholm line tonight with Coleman sidelined.
Besides that shakeup there are many other positions and roster spots up for grabs as the Flames head towards their season opener against Edmonton. Glenn Gawdin, Juuso Valimaki, Oliver Kylington, Nikita Zadorov and Walker Duehr are all fighting for limited space on the Flames active roster as the season begins. They all may have the chance to sink or swim tonight against the Jets.
Puck drop is at 7 PM MT from the Scotiabank Saddledome and the game can be streamed at the Flames website and you can listen to Derek and Peter on Sportsnet 960 The Fan.
