-Hot Start!: The Flames won their 6th straight game last night and it’s lead to one of their hottest starts in a while. It’s the first time since 2010-11 that Calgary has won six of their ten games.

-Just Another Shutout: Jacob Markstrom is one of the NHL’s best goalies, if not THE best currently. The Flames netminder has three shutouts in his last four starts, stopping all 98 shots in those games. He’s now tied his career high in shutouts from last season with three and it’s not even November yet.

-Monahan Is Alive: Sean Monahan got in the scorebook last night with his first goal of the season, giving Flames 1-0 lead. He also had an assist to get himself a multi point game, which is his first since April 23 of last season.
