The Morning After
Calgary Flames 4 - Seattle Kraken 1
The Flames rolled into Kent Washington and then rolled over the Seattle Kraken 4-1. A roster void of starters, save a few, dominated the NHL's newest expansion team after falling to them 4-3 in a shootout this week.
Dan Vladar went the distance, stopping 21 of the 22 shots that came his way to earn the win.
Despite only 13 shots on goal during the game, Calgary was able to find the back of the net four times in the victory. Michael Stone, Glenn Gawdin, Connor Mackey and Byron Froese scored for Calgary, giving the Flames back to back wins for the first time this preseason.
