The Morning After
Calgary Flames 2 - Anaheim Ducks 3 (OT)
Tidbits
-90 & Counting: The Flames have 90 shots through two games, which is a good thing. They just need more goals. Last season in their first two games Calgary had 71 shots on goal, but had 6 goals instead of 4.
-Johnny Johnnying: Johnny Gaudreau had two assists last night giving him his first two points of the season. The two helpers moved him into 7th place all time with the Flames in multi assist games (66) and 9th place in multi point games (125).
-A First: And not to be forgotten is Calgary’s newest player in Blake Coleman. Coleman scored the Flames first goal at home this season, which was also his first as a Flame and in his first game as a Flame.
