Highlight Of The Night

Calgary Flames 2 - Anaheim Ducks 3 (OT)

Well, as home openers go that one didn’t exactly go so well. Calgary had a 2-1 lead late in the third that they managed to blow, despite outshooting the Anaheim Ducks 43-27 and fell to the Ducks 3-2 in OT. Yay. They got a point. But enough with the negative and on to some positives. Blake Coleman would stake the Flames to a 1-0 lead at the 7:43 of the first period. It’s not only the first Flames goal on home ice this season, it’s also Coleman’s first goal as a member of the Calgary Flames, which also came in his Flames debut as he was suspended for Calgary’s season opener. Here’s a look at his first tally in Calgary.
