Highlight Of The Night

Calgary Flames 3 - Toronto Maple Leafs 4

Despite not being able to play a full 60 minutes, the Calgary Flames were still “in” this game in the final minutes. And as if they were turning back the clock, they were in it because Johnny Gaudreau was on fire. He finished with two goals, barely missing a third for a hat trick, but it was his second of the night that was the big tally for the Flames. At the 9:03 mark of the third period Gaudreau would roof a wrist shot past Frederik Andersen and the Flames would tie the game at 3-3. As was the case throughout the night, Toronto would strike back in less than three minutes with the game winner. Let’s not dwell on that negative though and celebrate a very sweet goal by Johnny Gaudreau with the HOTN!
