Mark: Calgary Flames 5 - Vancouver Canucks 2

The Flames got their opening night jitters and trash play out of the way and take down the Canucks. This seems totally reasonable. Or maybe it’s the Molson talking. Either way, FLAMES WIN!

This is not going to be a cakewalk. The Vancouver Canucks are a very systematic team and don’t falter too much. Pettersson’s been in a bit of a slouch after the two games against Edmonton, and i get the sense Markstrom’s going to want this one. Now if only we don’t start the 2nd period with our 4th line we could be cooking with sugar.

This was my score prediction for the first game, and it didn’t work out for me then, but I'm going to try it again. I think this one is still going to end up being close, but I’m also hoping that the Flames learned some things from their first game and will put together a stronger, more complete game this time around. We’re trying optimism again folks!
