Predictions:

Maddie: Calgary Flames 3 – Dallas Stars 2

Game 3 wasn’t very pretty, but I’m still coming into this one with some optimism. I can’t imagine the Flames are going to be thrilled with their game, and should be looking to bring a more complete effort. But they’ve got the momentum, and if they can limit their mistakes, they should be in pretty good shape for this one.

Renu: Calgary Flames 3 – Dallas Stars 0

Toothless Brodie has been a warrior and the Mangiapane line is looking good. I’ll be looking for the top line to get it going — once they do, there’s no stopping the Flames. Confidence in Talbot is 100% so let’s see the offence light it up. Let’s go Flames!

Michael: Calgary Flames 2 – Dallas Stars 4

I hate picking against the Flames, but I still feel this series has much more left to play out. The Flames never perform well in early afternoon games, and are probably due to be scored on a few times after being extremely lucky to escape with a shutout in Game 3. Now I’d love it if they prove me wrong, but I think Dallas evens up the series today. I especially don’t love the Flames chances if Matthew Tkachuk is out again after they struggled without him in Game 3.
