Mark: (A) One of the many things you can say about Elias Lindholm is that he is consistent. Like he’s been the best/most consistent Flames player since he arrived via trade in 2018-19. In his shortest season since his rookie year, Lindholm scored the most goals in his career with 29. Think about that for a minute. Lindholm, outside of maybe Matthew Tkachuk, was the Flames best player on the year and was one of a few players you could count on night in and night out. Thanks again Carolina!

Maddie: (A) Lindholm was definitely one of the bright spots of the forward corps for me this season, and I think Mark hit the nail on the head, saying he was one of their most consistent and dependable players. And I think it’s hard to overstate how important that was, considering that he also plays in all situations. The 5-on-5 scoring was there, he looked impactful on the power play, played a lot of good minutes on the penalty kill, and still the underlying numbers were pretty solid. He’s a player who is given a lot of responsibility, and he still always seems to be able to rise to the task. I really don’t have any complaints about his season, and just here’s hoping that he’ll be able to carry that same impact level into the playoffs (but that’s a bet I feel pretty comfortable taking).
