The Calgary Flames and Boston Bruins will meet tonight in the seventh and deciding game of the NHL20 Stanley Cup Finals simulation. It has been a back and forth series so far, with the Bruins taking leads in the series three separate times with victories in Games 1, 3, and 5, but the Flames countering with wins in Games 2, 4, and 6.

The Flames are coming off a 2-1 victory on home ice in Game 6 which evened up the series. They were led by a fantastic performance from Conn Smythe favourite Sean Monahan who scored both goals in the win while David Rittich was stellar, turning away 36 of 37 shots.

The Bruins have been led in scoring this series by Brad Marchand who has two goals and four assists, giving him 13 goals and 10 assists for the playoffs. Patrice Bergeron leads the Bruins in total playoff points with six goals and 18 assists. You’d have to think that one of these two would be the leading candidates for the Conn Smythe on the Bruins side.

Calgary is looking for their first Stanley Cup since 1989 and will try to rid the fanbase of terrible memories of Game 7 in 2004. The Bruins meanwhile are looking to avoid heartbreak for a second straight year after they lost Game 7 on home ice last year to the Blues.

Puck drop will go tonight at 7:30 PM MT on our Youtube page. Click here to watch the game!
