The Calgary Flames announced Friday morning that they have signed goaltender Dustin Wolf to an ELC (entry level contract).

The 19 year old from California has spent all three of his junior years with the Everett Silvertips of the WHL. After stepping out of Carter Hart’s shadow at the end of the 2017-18 season, Wolf has lead the WHL in goals against average (1.69), save percentage (.936), and wins (41) in 2018-19, and again lead the league in goals against average (1.88), save percentage (.935), wins (34), and shutouts (9) in the shortened 2019-20 campaign. For his efforts this season, he was named the WHL’s Western Conference goalie of the year.

Wolf was the Flames most recent selection in a draft, going in the 7th round, 214th overall in the 2019 draft. The deal is the three max, at 925K.
