Predictions

Mark: Calgary Flames 5 – Vegas Golden Knights 3

I think Calgary keeps rolling here and improves their home record against Vegas to 4-1-0. If this game was in Las Vegas, sure I’d have a different opinion, but I think the Flames are learning how to win important games and this will be a test for sure!

Gordie: Calgary Flames 3 – Vegas Golden Knights 2

The Flames bread and butter all season has been winning tight games. Vegas has two elite goaltenders whom have both stymied the Flames from different teams, so either will give the team problems. However, the Flames are on a roll, scoring 3+ goals for 14 straight games, and their play at home has drastically improved. This will be a playoff style game, and there won’t be much space or offense.

Renu: Calgary Flames 4 – Vegas Golden Knights 2

I have the Flames taking this one. They had a good last week with 3 Wins in a row. Let that motivation roll in an important game verse another division rival. No matter who plays in net, Rittich or Talbot, I think the Flames will keep the Golden Knights at bay.

Maddie: Calgary Flames 2 – Vegas Golden Knights 3 (OT)

I’m also predicting a close game for this one, and I think the Flames should still be pretty well in the mix here, but Vegas is still on a pretty good tear right now, and I imagine they’ll be extra motivated to rebound after that tough loss to Winnipeg on Friday. So it feels a little tough to bet against them. Hopefully the Flames can still get a point out of this one!
