The Morning After
Calgary Flames 3 - Arizona Coyotes 2
Tidbits
-They Come In 3’s: T.J. Brodie scored the Flames second goal last night and now has goals in three straight games. It’s the first time in his 10 year career where he’s scored a goal in three straight games.
-Home Dominance: The Flames haven’t been good at home in 2019-20, but they have been good at home against the Coyotes for a while now. Calgary’s 3-2 win last night makes their home record against Arizona 16-9-0 in their last 25 against the Yotes at the Saddledome.
-Closing In: Matthew Tkachuk had a three point last night with assists on each Calgary goal. That gives him 38 helpers on the season and puts him two behind Johnny Gaudreau (40) for the team lead. It also puts him in range of his career high in assists of 43 in 2018-19.
