The Morning After
Calgary Flames 1 - San Jose Sharks 3
Tidbits
-9th Place: Johnny Gaudreau scored the Flames lone goal of the game and it moved him into some elite company. Gaudreau’s 14th of the season tied him for 9th all time in goals scored in Calgary Flames history with Hakan Loob at 193.
-Speaking Of History: Joe Thornton collected two assists on the night, but his helper on Kevin LaBanc’s goal got him his 1500th point of his NHL career. Congrats to Jumbo Joe!
-Insult To Injury: Mark Giordano left the game in the second period with a lower body injury while attempting a shot. The Flames captain has now gone 10 straight games without a goal and only had one in his last 37 games.
