I like the way the Flames are playing lately and their win over Boston should boost their confidence. Their star players are starting to contribute on a regular basis and that could make them a tough out the rest of the season. Hopefully.

Maddie: Calgary Flames 3 - Nashville Predators 2

Riding the high after beating the Bruins? And you get your captain back? That’s all pretty good stuff, and I’m feeling pretty good about this one. I’m not sure I want to bank on a runaway victory for the Flames, but I think they can still pull off a win.

Michael: Calgary Flames 5 - Nashville Predators 4 (OT)

The Flames and Predators always seem to have entertaining, high scoring, fast paced games, especially when they’re in Nashville for whatever reason. Both teams are starting to heat up as they push for wild card playoff spots down the stretch. It would benefit both sides tonight if it was a three point game, but I have the Flames winning in overtime with Mikael Backlund getting the winner after the Preds focus way too much on not letting Matthew Tkachuk score another between-the-legs winner.

The Flames offence has been rolling as of late and I don’t think Nashville and their weird line combinations are going to stop them. Calgary sent them into a spiral after the last game Oct 31st so it could be in the Nashville players heads. 3M 2.0 will continue to roll.
