Staff Predictions & Lines: Derek Forbert & Erik Gustafsson Make Their Flames Debut

TD Garden isn’t quite Honda Center, but it’s a nightmare inducing building for the Flames.

Predictions

Mark: Calgary Flames 2 – Boston Bruins 6

TD Garden is the East Coast version of Honda Center: it’s where hope goes to die. Tuukka Rask should get the start for Boston and he’s only given up more than two goals twice in his last 15 games. Calgary should “smaht pahk” the bus and keep it running. Calgary’s lost 7 out of their last 10 here and I don’t see it getting any better.

Michael: Calgary Flames 3 – Boston Bruins 5

I think the Flames ultimately have a respectable showing again but come up short in Boston. The Bruins are going to be pissed coming home after a 9-3 loss in Vancouver, and unfortuntately they will probably take that out on the Flames. My other prediction for the game is that Erik Gustafsson has at least one, maybe two points in the game.
