Predictions

Mark: Calgary Flames 6 – Detroit Red Wings 3

Calgary HAS to win this game. It’s non-negotiable. I don’t see it being a blowout, but I also don’t see it being crazy close either.

Flash: Calgary Flames 4 – Detroit Red Wings 3

Now this should not be close, but Calgary’s going to dump defensive liabilities out there when they shouldn’t, even if the numbers scream at them to stop. Look for Michael Stone to cause at least 1 goal against, and Sam Bennett to crash back to reality.

Maddie: Calgary Flames 4 – Detroit Red Wings 2

The Red Wings are so bad, gang. I simply refuse to believe that the Flames will lose to them. I don’t really have a breakdown here, but the Flames need to win this one. (And I’m praying so hard that they don’t wind up embarrassing us).

Gordie: Calgary Flames 6 – Detroit Red Wings 0

Despite the Flames defensive struggles, they’ve scored 3+ goals for 7 games straight, and 6 goals 4 times over that period. The Red Wings are bad, and the Flames have to remind them of that. David Rittich needs to use a game like this to get his confidence back.
