Predictions

Mark: Calgary Flames 2 – San Jose Sharks 3

I like what the Flames showed against Vancouver, but this also a team that plays down to their competition. San Jose seems to have Calgary’s number this season and with the injuries and roster moves made today, who knows if this Flames team can handle a Sharks squad that is out to play spoiler until the final seconds tick off the clock in the 2019-20 season.

Flash: Calgary Flames 3 – San Jose Sharks 5

What’s a guaranteed recipe for success? Not Michael Stone in your top 4. Flames are coming off a good possession game, but lacked in quality chances. 13-23-28 need to be better, but I’m not sure Ward’s going to let them be what we know they can.

Maddie: Calgary Flames 1 – San Jose Sharks 2

This is a trap game, and I’m afraid. Like Mark, I also liked the Flames’ showing against Vancouver, but they’re also even more beat up right now, and while the Sharks really aren’t very good, I pointed that out the last time these two played and we all saw how that went. I don’t think they’ll get blown out in this one, but I’m also not feeling super good about their chances. I hope they prove me wrong, though.
