Flames select RW Ryan Francis 143rd overall

The Flames took their first forward since Connor Zary with their selection in the fifth round.

Right winger Ryan Francis nearly doubled his 2018-19 production in his draft year, putting up 72 points in 64 games for the Cape Breton Eagles of the QMJHL. He’s the 55th ranked North American skater.
