Predictions

Mark: Calgary Flames 2 – St. Louis Blues 4

St. Louis hasn’t won in four games, but they’ve owned the Flames in both games they’ve played this season, the last being a 5-0 dismantling of Calgary. I don’t see the Flames, coming off a 10 day vacation being energized and excited to play. Hopefully I’m wrong.

Maddie: Calgary Flames 2 – St. Louis Blues 3

Like Mark, I’m not feeling super optimistic about this one. The first game back from breaks hasn’t been terribly kind to the Flames, in general, and the Blues do still scare me. My optimism comes in that I’m hoping that they can at least keep this one close, but I think ultimately the Flames drop this one. Whomp whomp.

Michael: Calgary Flames 5 – St. Louis Blues 3

Not everybody on the site has to be Johnny Raincloud. I’m really excited to see the new line of Johnny Gaudreau-Sean Monahan-Derek Ryan because I think they’ll mesh together well. Ryan has had success pretty much everywhere he’s played in the lineup over two seasons. I also think the Flames might be able to take advantage of the Blues playing last night in Vancouver.
