The Morning After
Calgary Flames 3 - Chicago Blackhawks 5
Tidbits
-First Is The Worst: The Flames gave up three goals in the first period last night to the Chicago Blackhawks. Combine that with the three goals they allowed to the Canucks on Sunday night and the Flames have been outscored 6-0 in the first period over their last two games.
-2019 Is A Wrap!: The Flames lost their final game of 2019 last night making their record over the year 46-30-8, not bad.
-Bennett Drought Over: Yes, he missed almost a month’s worth of games due to injury, but Sam Bennett finally found the back of the net last night. His 4th goal of the season broke an 11 game scoreless streak dating back to November 2nd.
