The Calgary Flames announced Monday that they have signed 2019 1st round pick Jakob Pelletier to a 3-year, entry-level deal.
Pelletier, who was reassigned to the Moncton Wildcats of the QMJHL the same day, participated in his first NHL camp, last appearing in a 4-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets.
Pelletier recorded 89 points in 65 games last season.
