Calgary Flames Trim Roster to 28

The team continues to bring their roster down to get ready for opening day

As expected, the Calgary Flames announced a boatload of cuts today as the final rosters start to take shape heading into 2019-20. The roster moves were as follows:

Assigned to Stockton (AHL)

Assigned to Junior

Released from PTO

The Flames have 3 goalies, 9 defensemen, and 16 forwards left in camp with Matthew Tkachuk still unsigned.
