On the first day of free agency the CalgaryFlames have inked goaltender Cam Talbot to a one year, $2.75 million dollar contact for next season.
The signing will give the Flames a tendem of David Rittich and Talbot coming in to 2019-20.
Talbot spent the majority of last season with Edmonton before being sent to Philadelphia where he only saw action in 3 games with the Flyers, a team that had major goalie issues throughout the year
Talbot showed some promise while playing in Edmonton, especially during his breakout season in 2016-17. The Ontario native started 73 games that season and complied a W/L record of 42-22-8 with a .919 Save%.
The Flames will indeed have Cam Talbot between the pipes this coming season.
