2019 NHL Entry Draft: Calgary Flames Coverage

Well, the Flames didn't trade T.J. Brodie at 26, but drafted a player similar to someone already on their roster.... Johnny Gaudreau.

Calgary took the 5'9" Jakob Pelletier with the 26th pick in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.

Pelletier is classified as a speedy forward that can move the puck and put it in the net. He played with the Moncton Wildcats of the QJMHL in 2018-19. In 65 games he scored 39 G and had 50 A.
