Final IIHF Update: No Medals For Any Calgary Flames

Despite not getting a medal, Michael Frolik was a force on the international stage.

The 2019 IIHF World Championships have come and gone and no Flames player finished with a medal, but Canada did finish with the silver. The Flames players had varying success in the tournament with Michael Frolik being the clear star for Calgary on the international stage. Frolik finished with seven goals and seven assists for his Czech Republic team, which was good for 7th overall. Johnny Gaudreau had the roughest tournament of Calgary’s players as he had only two points and was injured during Team USA’s game against Great Britain.
