-OT Blues: The Flames played their 41st overtime playoff game last night, falling to the Avalanche 3-2. That makes Calgary’s all time record in extra time during the playoffs 18-23.
-Top Line On The Board: Calgary’s top line made an appearance in the series with a goal by Sean Monahan and an assist by Johnny Gaudreau. More importantly though, mainly for Av’s fans, Nathan MacKinnon found the score sheet as well with overtime game winner. Gabriel Landeskog and Mikko Rantanen also had points Saturday night.
-Built For The Playoffs: Sam Bennett had a two point night last night giving him nine points in 17 career playoff games.
