Calgary Flames 5 - Arizona Coyotes 2
Tidbits
-Career High: Mark Giordano scored a goal and had an assist last night in the Flames 5-2 victory over the Coyotes. Those two points pushed him to 57 points on the season, which is a new career high for the 35 year old captain. his previous career best was a 56 point effort in 2015-16. Pssssst...there’s still 23 games left this season.
-Austin....We Don’t Have A Problem: Austin Czarnik has been making the most of his return to the lineup. He had a goal yesterday giving him markers in two straight games. That’s a career first for the 26 year old.
-He’s The Acme Anvil To The Coyotes: Mike Smith won for the third time this season against his former mates and it’s becoming a trend. He’s 4-1-0 since leaving the ‘Yotes to join the Flames and has only allowed seven goals in those five games.
