Rate the Flames (3) at Capitals (4): Late Goal Extinguishes Flames

Despite tying the game midway through the third period with a goal from Elias Lindholm, the Flames fell 4-3 to the Washington Capitals on Friday night. In their first game back from the long all-star break, the Flames were unable to find a way to grab a victory, thanks to a late goal from Evgeny Kuznetsov.

Calgary got a highlight real goal from Mikael Backlund and another from Garnet Hathaway on the night, while Mike Smith was decent in the loss.
