The Avs score more goals and stop more pucks, but the team we’re about to face isn’t even a remotely healthy team Cale Makar being out is a MASSIVE loss for them, same with Grubaur, and the Flames are playing their best hockey of the year. I say this could be high scoring for the Avs, but it’s up to the Flames to continue their good play to try and thwart and take advantage of a good squad. I think, with a rested Rittich, we take advantage of a weakened Avalanche team. (BTW all the numbers say to take the Avs, so i’m being bold this go-round)

I know the Avalanche are kind of beat up right now, but they’ve been beat up just about all season and that hasn’t slowed them down much. I think the Flames are going to be able to at least hang in this game, but the Avs still scare me, and I think they pull off the win. Whomp whomp.
