I feel an explosion of goals coming from a frustrated Flames team. They’ve won 4 out of the last 5 times they’ve played on NYE and I expect them to close out 2019 with a victory and better things ahead in 2020. Stop laughing.

Maddie: Calgary Flames 4 – Chicago Blackhawks 2

I’ve been going with optimistic predictions like these over the last couple of games and they haven’t been going too well for me, but the Blackhawks, despite the mini hot streak they’re on right now, just aren’t very good. The Flames, I imagine, will be getting close to desperate to get things back on track before the new year, and I think they’re in pretty good position to do this. Let’s go.
