The Flames lost for the third straight time Thursday night, this time by way of a 4-3 OT loss to the Montreal Canadiens. The Flames blew a 2-0 lead after the first with an absolutely atrocious second period, which seems to be the new flavour for this team. While they were able to secure a point by getting to overtime, after the seven game winning streak a little more should be expected from this team. They are still within striking distance of the top spot in the Pacific and they do have points in 10 of their last 12 games.
