Fan Poll Friday: What Happens When Sam Bennett Comes Back?

Who's the odd man out?

Fan Poll Friday

NHL: Dallas Stars at Calgary Flames Sergei Belski-USA TODAY Sports

Sam Bennett has been absent from the Flames lineup due to a upper body injury he sustained back on November 16 in a loss to the Arizona Coyotes. Bennett appears close to returning to the Flames lineup, which presents the Flames with a few roster dilemmas: who's coming out or being scratched in favour of Bennett?

The two obvious choices would be Tobias Rieder and Zac Rinaldo, but they, especially Rieder, have played well when given the chance. Their production has been a huge help to the Flames during their current seven game winning streak.

Mark Jankowski is another option as the young centre is having a very rough start to 2019-20. Janko has only one point (an assist) so far and is mostly invisible when on the ice.

With all that said, it's not like Bennett has been lighting the world on fire when he was healthy. In 20 games Bennett has only three goals and two assists.

So we're asking you, who should come out of the lineup when Sam Bennett is ready to return. Vote in our poll below!
