The Morning After
Calgary Flames 5 - NJ Devils 2
Tidbits
-First.....With The Flames: Noah Hanifin has 4 multi point games in his young career, but last night was his first with the Flames. Hanifin had a goal and two assists in the Flames 5-2 win over the NJ Devils.
-PP Alive?: The Flames had a run where they were 0-10 on the PP and the opponent playing short handed looked like they had the man advantage. This appears to be correcting itself. Calgary has four power play goals in their last two games, going 4-12 over that stretch. Not great, but MUCH better.
-League Leader: We told you about David Rittich seeing the most shots in the NHL and leading the NHL in saves and tied for the league in shutouts. Well, he’s leading the league in another category after last night. He now is tops in games started by a goaltender with 15.
