Calgary comes out tonight and plays hard for Geoff Ward in the midst of an incredible %&$# storm brewing around the organization.

Michael: Calgary Flames 4 - Buffalo Sabres 3 (SO)

Both of these teams have slowed down after starting well out of the gates. Three of the last four meetings have gone past regulation, but I think tonight will be the first time it goes all the way to the shootout. I have Andrew Mangiapane, Rasmus Andersson, and Elias Lindholm scoring for the Flames in no particular order.

Maddie: Calgary Flames 4 - Buffalo Sabres 2

I think this section is turning into some weird mix of actual prediction and wishful thinking for me, but we’re rolling with it for now. Here’s what I’ve got: a win for the Flames would be extremely good for a myriad of reasons that I’m not going to break down here, and I think they’ve got it in them. The Sabres are struggling some right now, but I’m going to say they still get two tonight. Because a goal for Jeff Skinner would really help my fantasy team, and I’m also acknowledging that as the opponents here, Jack Eichel will just about always find a way to hurt you.
