The Morning After Philadelphia
Calgary Flames 3 - Philadelphia Flyers 2 (SO)
Tidbits
-#13 is #13: It’s been a rough run for Johnny Gaudreau as of late, but the Flames forward was able to collect a point last night. With his assist on Elias Lindholm’s game tying goal Johnny Gaudreau tied Lanny MacDonald for 13th all time in points with the Flames.
-Shoot Out Kings: The Flames won via shoot out for the third time this season yesterday. Compare that to last season where they lost all four times they played in the gimmick session and things are certainly looking much better!
-Odds Of Ending In Regulation?: The Flames and Flyers enjoyed playing so much yesterday they took it all the way to a shoot out. This is the 4th time in the last five meetings that a game between these two has gone beyond regulation with Calgary winning all four meetings.
