NHL Standings

If you like hockey, this wasn’t your game. If you like hockey fights this WAS your game. The Flames and Coyotes battled yesterday, literally, with Arizona coming out on top 3-0.

No one cares about the stats or breakdown from this game, all you want to see is the brawl. So here it is:

Tidbits

-First Shut Out: Last night was the first time the Flames were shutout on the season. Oddly enough the first time they were shut out last year came at game #23, a 2-0 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights. Last night was game #22 for the Flames. Must be something about this time of year.

-Kuemper Again: Darcy Kuemper improved his career record against the Flames to 3-1-1 overall with his victory last night. The 3-0 shut out was his second straight blanking of the Flames.

-Naughty Rittich: David Rittich picked up four PIM last night for his efforts in the line brawl. That gives him six on the season, the most by a Flames keeper since…..David Rittich in 2017-18 when he collected 14.
